THE families of 12 migrant workers who died of silicosis have received 90,000 yuan (US$13,158) each, the People's Daily reported yesterday.
The 12 died between October 2006 and December 2008 after working at quartz plants in Fengyang County of Anhui Province since 2003, the report said. Another 68 workers with silicosis will get up to 60,000 yuan each.
