Initial diagnosis showed Chyi had suffered second-degree burns and had to be placed under special medical treatment for a certain period of time. Chyi's agent said he would not be involved in any form of public performances and activities in the following two or three months.
According to a local medical expert, such burn injuries will not put Chyi's life in danger, but he may need skin transplant for complete recovery.
