Six kindergarten teachers injured in tornado, hailstorm as they protected children

Six kindergarten teachers got injured when they blocked classroom doors with their bodies in order to protect children when a disastrous tornado and hailstorm hit Funing County in east China, local media reported.
Seven of the 120 children at the school were also injured including two critically.
"Even when the doors were breaking into pieces, my colleagues were still trying to press against them to protect the children," headmaster of the Jiqiao Kindergarten reportedly told the media.
The roof of the three-story building was entirely blown off by the tornado.
