Snow to disperse smog in China

SNOW will disperse smog in parts of China, the weather observatory said on Saturday.
Snow will hit northern China and northeastern China, while rain will sweep some parts in southern China on Monday and Tuesday, the National Meteorological Center forecast.
There was a new yellow alert on Saturday for smog in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Henan, Shandong, Shaanxi, Anhui, Jiangsu and Sichuan.
China has a four-tier warning system, with red as the most severe, followed by orange, yellow and blue.
The public has been warned to take protective measures when engaging in outdoor activities, and those who suffer from respiratory diseases are advised to stay indoors.
