Social order maintained
SOCIAL order in Zhouqu County is stable as local police, firefighters and Armed Police forces make an all out effort to ensure public safety.
Zhu Shouke, an official in Gansu's public security department, said yesterday police will launch 24-hour patrols to keep order. Relief supplies' storage sites, shops and houses will be protected from looting, Zhu said.
Local armed police are ensuring the smooth flow of vehicles along roads to and from the county.
