Soldiers equipped for nuclear, chemical and biological hazards dispatched
SOLDIERS equipped for nuclear, chemical and biological hazards have been dispatched to Tianjin to help with the rescue mission in the wake of two powerful explosions today that have left at least 44 people dead.
A squad of more than 200 soldiers has left Beijing for Tianjin to help with rescue work, Xinhua News Agency reported. The first soldiers have already arrived and begun rescue operations.
A military hospital from Beijing has set up a field clinic about 3 kilometers from the blast site and treated dozens of victims, Xinhua reported.
