Solo sailor eager for delicious food

CHINESE sailor Guo Chuan, on the way of a solo non-stop sailing around the world, said he longed for improving his meals after floating 11 weeks on the ocean.
"I have been knowing the boat better and better, and my physical condition isn't bad," said Guo Chuan, "The only thing I want to improve is meal."
"As frozen and dried food is so awful, I always feel in semi-starvation." said Guo, 48, over a satellite telephone.
"I should learn from this lesson, and I would bring much more delicious food if there were another sailing around the world," Guo said.
Guo, who got round of the Cape Horn on Jan. 19 and finished half voyage of his world sailing on Jan. 25, is now sailing on the Atlantic Ocean and is expected to get round the Cape of Good Hope around Feb. 20.
Setting off from Qingdao, east of China and Guo's hometown, on Nov. 18 last year, Guo aims to travel 21,600 nautical miles in about 130 days.
