Speeding cop car orphans boy, 10

A SPEEDING police vehicle has paralyzed a 10-year old boy and killed his parents in an accident in east China's Anhui Province, a local Website reported today.
Traffic police confirmed that the vehicle was registered to Jixi County police and said it was being driven by a procuratorate driver surnamed Ye, who has now been detained.
The 10-year old boy suffered serious spinal injuries in the accident on February 20, said his uncle Ke Boxing.
The Jixi Party disciplinary watchdog has stepped into the case.
