SARIKA, this year's third tropical storm, weakened to tropical low pressure after landing in south China early yesterday. Heavy rains resulting from the storm will continue, the country's meteorological agency said.
The National Meteorological Center said it has canceled its previous typhoon warning as Sarika is expected to lose power further.
