Students in pyramid selling probe
AN investigation has been launched into a pyramid selling ring suspected of having entrapped almost 100 students in central China's Hunan Province, Legal Evening News reported yesterday.
An official with the Education Department of Hunan said students from six vocational schools and colleges might have been lured into an expanding pyramid scheme by a so-called training group.
They said they couldn't reveal more details as the investigation was still on-going.
The unnamed official said the investigation began after they received reports from police and from a parent of one of the students.
