Suicide bomber seeking wages injures 7 in blast
A MAN in south China's Guangdong Province killed himself and injured seven others in an explosion yesterday when seeking overdue wages, police said.
The public security bureau in Guangzhou City, the provincial capital, said local police received a report of the explosion at a residential community about 3:53pm.
An initial investigation showed the man came to demand the payment of wages from a company at the residential quarter.
He later ignited explosives on his body, killing himself and injuring seven others, according to the probe.
The explosion is under further investigation.
