Suspect shot dead

POLICE in south China’s Guangzhou City shot dead a suspected drug dealer after he and his accomplice tried to flee, a Ministry of Public Security statement said yesterday.
Police fired at the two suspected drug dealers on Friday after they refused to get out of their car and attempted to drive at the police.
Their car hit a flower bed and turned over shortly after the shots were fired.
One of the suspects died at the scene. The other suspect, who escaped, was arrested at his apartment later that day.
Police said they found drugs at the apartment.
