TV series adapted from hit fantasy novel to air at end of month

THE highly-anticipated romantic fantasy series "Three Lives Three Worlds, Ten Miles Peach Blossoms," based on a hit online fantasy novel, will start its airing on Dragon TV at the end of this month.
Starring actress Yang Mi and actor Mark Zhao, the series tells a love story between Bai Qian, a goddess and monarch from the Heavenly Realms and Ye Hua from the the mortal world. Their love once ends tragically, but it is ignited after long passages of time.
The series features visually stunning scenes and exquisite costumes and props designed by award-winning costume designer William Cheung. More than 1,400 sets of artistic costumes are specially designed for the fantasy characters.
The novel is also adapted into a film titled "Once Upon a Time," starring Liu Yifei and heartthrob Yang Yang. The film slated for release during the summer vacation is expected to be a box office sensation because of the vast fan base of the novel.
