TV stations to screen programs on the invasion

PROGRAMS and films about Japan’s invasion of China will dominate television schedules on September 3, the 70th anniversary of China’s victory.
China Central Television and local TV stations will present art performances with a victory theme that night, the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television said.
Zhejiang Satellite TV will broadcast veterans’ stories over five days and will also show war-themed documentaries and cartoons.
Japan signed its formal surrender on September 2, 1945, and China celebrated victory the following day.
