Taiwan man stores rice, water in anticipation of tsunami
A Taiwan teacher recently predicted that the island would be hit by a magnitude-14 earthquake and a massive tsunami tomorrow and has stored more than 9,000 sacks of rice weighing 27 tons, TVBS reported.
The man surnamed Wang began building a warehouse in Nantou County, central Taiwan after he made the prediction and has ordered a truckload of bottled water in addition to the rice which is enough to feed one battalion of troops for one year.
Though the "doomsday" is just one day away, his warehouse is not yet completed and Wang is overseeing its construction every day. His act has drawn curious visitors from surrounding areas but Wang said he would stay in the house to "the end."
