Taiwan reports one more death from A/H1N1 influenza
A 34-year-old man in Taiwan has died of A/H1N1 influenza, bringing the island's death toll to 18, according to epidemic control authorities today.
The man was reported to be the first victim sent to hospital in a critical condition on the island. He had been in hospital for more than 80 days, undergoing treatment.
On Sept. 20, a pregnant woman on the island died of the flu virus.
The island had not reported any new cases in hospital as of today. The total number of cases who had been sent to hospital reached 298, among whom 25 were still in hospital and 255 had been discharged.
