A small train in Taiwan's Ali Mountain area overturned today, killing six tourists from the Chinese mainland, and seriously injuring 20 to 30 passengers, most of whom are mainland tourists.
Helicopters have been dispatched to the spot and the injured have been sent to medical stations. Another 50 to 60 people were slightly injured.
Witnesses say a tree had fallen over the railway line which caused four of the train's carriages to overturn.
