Tall buildings ‘threat’to military airports
HEIGHT restriction violations have threatened more than half of China’s military airports, and caused about 100 accidents over the past 20 years, military authorities said yesterday.
More than 10 airports have been forced to relocate or close due to safety concerns, the People’s Liberation Army said.
A new law, which takes effect on August 1, forbids buildings and structures from violating clearance limits in the reserve zones.
