Tax bureau chief and his family slain at home

POLICE are investigating the brutal murder of a tax bureau director and his wife and two children after they were found dead at home in Hezhou, a city in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Local authorities said Zhou Zixong, the 44-year-old director of Hezhou City Tax Bureau, was killed at home yesterday. His wife, their 16-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter were also slain, Xinhua reported today.
Zhou's mother who lived with them reported to police after finding the bodies. She was out shopping when the murder occurred, Guangxi police said without giving details.
