Teen hacks alleged molester to death, burns down house

A 16-year-old boy allegedly hacked a man to death after the man sexually molested him and set fire to a rented house in east China's Shandong Province, ccdy.cn reported.

The boy has been captured while fleeing to Guizhou Province in southwest China.

Liu told police that he slept at Jiang's place the day before his death, but never thought the man of about his father's age would rape him. Liu grabbed a knife out of anger and shame and stabbed the offender. The first stab cut off one of Jiang's ears and then the boy wounded him in the neck.

Liu made a phone call with Jiang's mobile phone one hour after his death and police tracked him down by tracing this phone call.

The 45-year-old victim, surnamed Jiang, has a criminal record of robbery and was released from prison on medical parole. He lived in a rented house and depended on government grants.

Jiang's house was engulfed in flames late in the night and his body was found by the door of the burnt house the next morning. The body's face was heavily burnt, while his abdomen had burst.

Police said the wound on the abdomen could have been be caused by the heat of the fire. His body had more than 20 stab wounds. The bed was covered with large amount of blood and a bloody shoe-mark was found on it.

Liu said he did not know that he could call the police for help when he was offended.

Neighbors of the victim told the police that Jiang did not have a job and barely talked to anyone. He did not have friends, although many people younger than 20 years visited and slept at his house.
