Three held in Wenzhou workshop blast that killed 13
THREE people have been detained in the deadly workshop blast in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, which killed 13 and injured 14 others.
The couple who ran the illegal workshop that processed locks were detained by police for investigation, reported Ouhai.org.cn, a local news website, yesterday.
The landlord who rented the place to the couple was also held in custody.
The blast happened on Sunday afternoon in the city's Ouhai District and caused a big fire at the site.
Investigations showed the explosion was triggered by sparks from a polishing machine in a dust-filled workshop.
