Top cops sacked after gambling den raid

FOUR senior police officers in a south China town have been fired after a big gambling house was busted in Dongkeng Town of Guangdong Province's Dongguan City.
Ninety-five gamblers and staff were nabbed on December 30 last year during the raid, using 500 police officers and 15 armored trucks, today's Guangzhou Daily reported citing Dongkeng police.
The gambling house's owner is still at large, police said. An investigation is continuing.
