Top storm alert issued
The national meteorological center issued this year's first red alert, the highest level, yesterday as storms Saola and Damrey headed toward China's eastern coast.
Saola is expected to hit coastal areas between northern Fujian and southern Zhejiang by this morning, Damrey will land in Shandong and Jiangsu provinces.
In Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, nearly 60,000 people have been forced to relocate. In Fujian, 59,337 people have been relocated.
