HEAVY downpours in southern and eastern China have killed 15 people, with two others missing, said the National Commission for Disaster Reduction yesterday.
Rain began lashing nine provincial regions in southern and eastern China, including the provinces of Anhui, Hubei, Hunan and Jiangxi, on Wednesday. Some 4.68 million people have been affected and 62,000 people evacuated.
