Tourists robbed

THREE tourists, including two foreigners and their tour guide, were robbed by six motorcycle-riding men in Hainan Province on Saturday, local authorities said yesterday.
The three tourists were participating in an orienteering event in a rubber forest in Sanya when they were robbed about 4pm, said Zhang Yunxu from the Sanya Public Security Bureau. The men took necklaces from two female foreigners and a mobile phone from a local tourist. They stabbed the tour guide and took the guide's rucksack, which contained 26,000 yuan (US$3,804), 400 euros (US$540) and US$600.
