Traffic official falls to his death

A Tianjin traffic official fell to his death from his eighth-floor office on Wednesday, Chinese media website Watching reported yesterday.
It said the incident came at a time when local traffic authorities are being “sucked into a whirlpool of troubles” due to the blasts.
Dong Yongcun was in charge of administrative approvals with the Tianjin Transportation Commission and used to be head of the law and water transport sections of the Tianjin Transportation and Port Administration, the website said.
