Tropical Storm Warning For Two Provinces
THE first tropical storm to hit China this year was due to make landfall early today, the Office of State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters said. It has sent task forces to Guangdong and Fujian provinces.
The storm, named Sarika, was moving at a speed about 20 to 25 kilometers per hour and predicted to land somewhere between the city of Shanwei in Guangdong and Zhangpu in Fujian.
