Twins foil DNA test to find baby's dad
A toddler may live with a riddle all his life because his mother had sex with twin brothers and has died of cancer and a DNA test couldn't identify his father, today's Xiaoxiang Morning Post reported.
The identical twins from central Hunan Province shared an apartment with Luo Suhong, then girlfriend of Lin Weizhuang, in Shanghai in 2010 as the three were pursuing their dream life in the city. Lin and Luo planned to get married soon.
But a mistake ruined everything. The three young people all got so drunk one night that Luo mistakenly went to Lin Weihao's room and even had sex with him, the paper said.
Lin Weizhuang found this out soon, broke up with his girlfriend and hated his brother. Four months later, the twins went back Changsha, capital of Hunan. Meanwhile Luo found she was pregnant.
She begged Lin Weizhuang to forgive her but her boyfriend wouldn't because he believed the baby was his brother's, the paper said.
Before dying of lung cancer this May, Luo asked the brothers to take care of the baby, but neither of them admitted being the boy's father.
Because the identical twins shared the same DNA, it is impossible to tell who the boy's father is. However, the twins have reconciled and decided to raise the child together, the paper said.
