Two held after judge killed 'just for fun'
POLICE seized two suspects at Hangzhou railway station who allegedly killed a judge in southwest China for "fun."
The two, identified as Zhao and Yang, are said to have confessed that they and three other men met the victim outside the Higher People's Court of Guizhou Province last Thursday evening.
Zhao told police they didn't like the "way he walked" and started beating him until he stopped moving, the Hangzhou-based Metropolis Express reported yesterday.
Yang said they robbed the judge of 200 yuan (US$29.30), according to the report.
Yang is said to make more than 10,000 yuan a month running a chess and poker room in Guiyang, the provincial capital of Guizhou.
He allegedly told police they killed the judge just for a bit of fun. The three other suspects are still on the run. Guizhou police will escort the pair back to the province.
