Two killed, five injured in central China plant blast

TWO people were killed and five others were injured after a factory blast in central China's Henan Province today, local authorities said.

The blast happened while workers were applying corrosion protection at storage facilities in Julong Bioengineering Company in Ruzhou City at around 10:48am. The injured have been sent to hospital, according to the local publicity department.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
