Two killed in S China helicopter crash
Two people were confirmed killed when the wreckage of a helicopter that went missing on Tuesday morning was found 24 hours later in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
The deceased, the only two people on board the aircraft, were both pilots for its owner, a local company organizing helicopter tours.
Guilin General Aviation Company said the helicopter took off from Guilin at around 11:20 am on Tuesday and was headed to Beihai in Guangxi. It lost contact with the ground about an hour later over Guilin's Yongfu County.
The wreckage, along with the pilots' bodies, was discovered in a mountainous area of Yongfu, according to the company.
Further investigation into the exact cause is under way.
