TWO middle school students were killed and another was injured in a house collapse in south China's Guangdong Province yesterday morning, local authorities said.
The collapse happened at an abandoned house in Fengsha Village, Fengkai County when the three students were pounding slates to get the steel bars inside for profit, a county government spokesman said.
The students were expected to sell the steel bars for pocket money, according to the initial investigation.
The cause of the accident is being investigated.
