UFOs sighted flying toward Shenzhou-9 spacecraft
Chinese experts today confirmed the sighting of two glowing UFOs flying fast towards China's Shenzhou-9 spacecraft shortly after its launch on Saturday.
The flying objects were recorded by an infrared video camera. They suddenly appeared on the monitoring screen about 4 minutes after the Long March-2F carrier rocket blasted off.
They flew towards the rocket at a faster speed than the rocket that just shed its nose cone. But the two unidentified objects flew past the rocket and vanished within two seconds.
Many Chinese saw the UFOs as the spacecraft launch was broadcast live on the state-run CCTV.
"They couldn't be planes, meteors, birds or separated parts from the rocket," said Wang Sichao, an expert at the Nanjing Purple Mountain Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Wang said he classified them as UFOs and kept the video in the archives for further research.
