Unknown plane hits ground in fog; police search survivors

A plane crashed into a mountain in Jinyun County, eastern Zhejiang Province in foggy weather around 6pm yesterday, witnesses said.
The impact created a large pit in the ground and only partial wreckage of the fallen aircraft could be seen.
It was unclear last night if anyone was killed or injured in the accident, the Beijing News reported today.
Chinese Air Force has ruled out that the aircraft belonged to them and said it might be a small corporate jet or an agricultural spray plane.
Local police have blocked the area and are searching for survivors, the report said.
