Uproar sparks after video clip shows foreign swimmer throwing a young Chinese girl to neighboring lane

A 30-second video clip, showing a foreign swimmer plucking a little Chinese girl and dumping her to a neighboring swimming lane, has triggered heated debates in China's cyber communities with split comments.
The video clip, believed to be taken recently by a witness at a public swimming pool in Beijing and later uploaded by the girl's parent, started with the four-year-old swimming on her own in a direction, which was perpendicular to the swimming lanes.
When she moved to the middle of the swimming lane, whilst blocking the way of the oncoming foreign swimmer, the apparently angry man made a shocking act by pulling the girl right up from the water and "throwing" her to the next lane.
The girl's mother reportedly stated that her daughter was appalled by such an act of rudeness and could not stop crying after the incident happened, Beijing Times reported.
The foreigner stated that he was frightened to find a child blocking his way in the lane before he took her to the neighboring lane. The foreigner reportedly said that he felt remorseful later and hopes that the girl and her mother could forgive him after the situation.
The video has been viewed for more than 650,000 times on youku.com, a leading online video website in China, with opposing comments.
"The parents should keep a close eye on their children not to make them bother the others in the public," a Netizen, Fei Niao, said online, representing a large group of others who expressed the same viewpoint after seeing the clip. Many Netizens seem to agree that the parent shouldn’t have left her children unattended especially when her daughter was obstructing a normally swimming man.
In spite of that, other Netizens disagree with the claims of the above.
"Even if the kid was wrong in the first place, the adult should not have treated her in such a rude fashion," wrote another Netizen CF Baishi online.
