A mini van carrying 17 schoolchildren in northern Hebei Province rolled over on an icy road this morning, killing three students dead and injuring two.
A teacher was driving the van to their school in Qinglong County around 7am when the accident happened. The vehicle belonged to the teacher and was not a school bus, China News Service reported.
The injured students are now receiving treatment in a hospital while police are investigating the cause of the accident, report said.
