Volunteer rescuers out of contact after reporting landslide

A team of volunteer rescuers from Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang Province, have remained out of contact with its headquarters since 4pm yesterday following a landslide en route to their destination, Taiping Town, inside the quake zone, according to China News Service reported.
The 8-person team previously reported to the headquarters about 4pm yesterday that they witnessed a landslide after arriving at Taiping Town and they were rushing to help with rescues. It was the last time by far they were heard on the phone.
The headquarters is making all efforts to resume contact with the team and confirm their situation.
