Vomiting patient baffles hospitals

DOCTORS are baffled by a 59-year-old man in northeastern China who keeps vomiting black liquid several times a day.
Tan Shengji of Shandong Province started vomiting at the end of last year when he felt sick and depressed, according to his son Tan Aijun quoted in today's Qilu Evening News.
Tan has been seeking treatment all over the country for almost 10 months, yet no doctor can diagnose any disease. One of Tan's doctors said tests were inconclusive as the vomit was normal body fluid.
Tan has lost almost 50 kg since December last year and survives on a glucose drip because he finds eating impossible.
The hospital is now running psychiatric tests.
