TOURISTS to Chongqing Municipality will soon experience the effect of walking on water as the southwestern city plans to build the world's longest glass boardwalk over its Three Little Gorges.
The glass boardwalk will be as long as 156 meters among a three-kilometer stretch of reconstructed ancient boardwalk zigzagging from Wushan County to Dachang Ancient Town.
The Three Little Gorges are on the lower reaches of Daning River, the largest tributary of the Yangtze River.
