At least six people died in an explosion at a firecracker warehouse in north China’s Hebei Province yesterday, the local government said. More than dozen others were injured in the incident in Ningjin County. The blast shattered nearly all the glass windows at a residential building close by while windows were also broken at a flour factory situated about a kilometer away. An investigation has been launched.
