DEFENSE Minister Liang Guanglie warned yesterday that China reserves the right to take further action against Japan in the two countries' ongoing dispute over the Diaoyu Islands.
General Liang said that Japan should bear full responsibility for "heating up" the issue after the Japanese government took the decision to "purchase" the islands.
He made it clear that while China would still like to see a negotiated solution, he hoped that the Japanese government would "undo its mistakes and come back to the right track of negotiations."
