Wen leaves for east Asian leaders' meetings
Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao left Beijing this morning for Hanoi, Vietnam, to attend a series of meetings between east Asian leaders from October 29 to 30.
At the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, Wen will attend the 13th summit between China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations; the 13th summit between ASEAN, China, Japan and the Republic of Korea; and the fifth East Asia Summit.
Wen will also attend a meeting with the leaders of Japan and the ROK.
