WINTER swimming lovers dived and swam to celebrate the traditional solar term of the Start of Winter yesterday in the northeastern Heilongjiang Province.
The fans dived into the Heilongjiang River on the Sino-Russian border despite a sharp drop in temperature to minus 11 degrees Celsius. Families usually gather to eat dumplings, or jiaozi, on the traditional day.
