Woman dies after queuing for roller coaster ride at amusement park
A FEMALE tourist suddenly fainted at an amusement park in Ningbo, neighboring Zhejiang Province, this morning while she was queuing for a roller coaster ride and she died after being rushed to hospital.
The tourist in her 20s from Taizhou, Zhejiang, fell down suddenly around 10:30am when she was waiting beside a wooden roller coaster at Oriental Heritage, the amusement park.
The park operator said the woman had not taken the roller coaster ride when she fainted as surveillance images showed, Chinanews.com reported.
She received an artificial respiration at the scene, but rescue efforts failed, the report said.
The roller coaster is said to be the biggest wooden roller coaster in East China, according to the report.
Investigation is still underway.
