Woman sent to hospital after being found with head stuck in roadside guardrail

A WOMAN whose head was stuck in a roadside guardrail was receiving emergency treatment in a Beijing hospital this afternoon, Beijing News reported.

The woman was found bent over at a guardrail near a bus station in the Zhongguancun area at around 6am by a sanitation worker. Witnesses said the woman was in her 30s.

She was motionless when she was found. There was no blood in the surrounding area, but when police pulled her out, her eyes rolled back in her head and she looked very pale, witnesses said.

An ambulance took her to Haidian Hospital, where doctors were trying to save her. No details were released about what happened to her or any injuries she might have.
