Woman shares childbirth experience on Weibo
A woman in south China's Guangdong Province posted the 40-hour process of her giving birth to a daughter via microblogs on Weibo.com, China's answer to Twitter, the New Express Daily today.
"My back aches. Is that a sign of uterine contraction?" the mother Chen Yang used her mobile to share her feelings as she was waiting for a caesarean delivery on Wednesday.
Her microblogs attracted many comments from her relatives, friends and unknown Weibo users. Some gave her encouragement while others shared their experiences as a mother.
Her 30th tweet came out after she finally gave birth to a 3.1-kilogram girl. She said she would show her daughter these tweets when she is old enough to understand.
Her husband said he was initially opposed to Chen's idea of microblogging her childbirth but later accepted it as he wanted to preserve the memory for their child's sake.
