Woman strangles son for not eating breakfast

A woman in an east China city has been detained for allegedly strangling her 13-year-old son to death because he refused to get up and eat breakfast.
The boy was found lying in bed breathless when police arrived yesterday afternoon at their home in Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province, the Youth Times reported today.
The woman surnamed Jiang sat quietly in the next room and admitted the killing to the police, the report said.
Initial investigation found Jiang strangled her son around 8am because he refused to get up for breakfast.
Jiang's neighbors described her as being very strict with the boy.
Police are still investigating the case.
