Women in gay porn crackdown

POLICE in central China said they had busted a gay pornography website and detained 32 women, including a 17-year-old, who wrote pornographic stories for the site.
Police in Zhengzhou, capital of Henan Province, said they had detained the website owner and his writers for spreading obscene material, the Orient Today newspaper reported yesterday.
Police said the site provided nearly 80,000 gay stories to about 600,000 registered members. Some fiction was restricted to VIP readers who paid fees via cell phones.
Its owner, surnamed Wang, 28, said most of the stories were written by women in their 20s from Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing and other cities.
Most writers said they were paid less than 100 yuan (US$15.23) for each story.
