WUZHEN is famous for its beautiful scenery. During last year's World Internet Conference, CEOs and bosses of internet companies stayed at local residences while they worked on plans for the industry's development.
It will be the second time that homestay host Mumu will house William Ding, the founder and CEO of Netease.
At last year's conference, the internet company boss dined here, together with Robin Li, CEO of Baidu, and Charles Zhang, CEO of Sohu Group.
"This is Robin Li, and that is William Ding. He was holding a wine bottle like he was staying at his own home, and poured a glass to guests," said Mumu, Homestay host.
The well-known names and photos have now become a legacy here.
And, they have attracted even more visitors than before.
"Many girls like Robin Li, as he is very handsome. Some of them have come to my house, and asked to sit on the very seat where Li sat. Some others even ordered the exact dishes he had during the stay," Mumu said.
It's the same success story for Ms. Tang...whose house was visited by Jack Ma, the chairman of Alibaba Group.
Scores of media outlets came to interview Tang, and she enjoys a rising popularity among locals, as well as travellers.
"People from all over the country have come to my house. I have more chances to talk with them. And they taught me new stuff," said Tang Meiying, Homestay host.
Also adding to the popularity of Wuzhen are the 60 trees planted by the Internet CEOs last year.
Another 60 will be planted this year, as a symbol of new vitality for this conference, which is an incubator of new ideas.
