Xi and Obama to exchange views at capital summit
US President Barack Obama will pay a state visit to China and attend the 22nd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Beijing which begins next Monday, foreign ministry spokesman Qin Gang said yesterday.
Qin said the leaders of the two countries will exchange views on Sino-US relations as well as major international and regional issues of common concern.
A series of APEC meetings begins tomorrow and Chinese President Xi Jinping will chair the Economic Leaders’ Meeting next week. On the sidelines of the meeting, Xi will meet with leaders of other APEC members, Qin said.
